Richard Hall began offering Financial Planning and Investment Management Services in 1992 and operated under the business name of B&H Wealth Management.   

I was continually looking for a business name more decriptive of me, my relationship with my clients, and what I attmept to do for them.   During the dark days of 2008-2009 a number of clients sent me emails thanking me for the Good Stewardship of their finances and I realised this was exaclty as I viewed my roll in thier lives and thus Cumbrian Financial Stewardship was born.

Cumbrian.  I was born in Cumbria, the county encompassing the Lake District of northern England and the reputed home of King Arthur and his Round table in 300 AD.

Financial.  To qualify the type of Stewardship.

Stewardship.   The act of managing something one does not own for the beneft of others.  These days more often used in the context of our Stewardship of the Planet for the generations to come.   Historically a Steward would create the long term plans and run the day to day operatons of an Estate for the land owning Noble.
